Mission Points
- Provide best quality products possible

- “Keeping it organic”. We aim to keep our costs and profit margins low thus maintaining the low prices we provide to our customers. To achieve this we must remain highly efficient and productive.
- Innovate into new areas
- Innovation is a must within our business. We are constantly on the look out for new ideas and methods to improve water flow control and quality and the environment. We continuously strive to develop a range of different products so that we can accommodate many different situations. (Do you have any water issues that need a solution but you can not find one? Give us a call and we may be able to help you)
- Improve the service we provide whenever and wherever possible

- Reduce the production time from order to delivery down to less than a week.
History
In 1999 Garry Fagan commenced the process of setting up a business in the industry he has worked within for most of his life. His experience led him to believe that the market would benefit from having a competitive and viable alternative to the market leaders. After two years development he started trading in April 2001. AVT was created with the intention of providing quality VFC’s and expertise, both of which are intended to provide added value at very competitive prices. Since AVT commenced trading, many hundreds of AVT VFC’s have been installed in over 20 counties throughout England and Wales. Additionally, VFC’s have been installed in Ireland and are continually advancing into the Irish market.
Managing Director: Garry W Fagan BSc. (Hons), C. Eng., M.I.C.E.
Garry has over 30 years experience in the drainage industry, of which 19 have been in the specialised area of vortex flow controls (VFCs) and other areas of vortex technology. He achieved Chartered Civil Engineer status in 1979. During his time in the industry he has been involved in numerous sewerage, pollution control (Combined Sewerage Overflows), storm water attenuation systems and storm water management projects. He was responsible for many years for the engineering, production and research of VFCs and other areas of vortex technology for a large international company where he was the Engineering & Technical Director. He is acknowledged as being expert in the design, engineering, application and production of these devices.
Garry started AVT with the vision of supplying VFCs at a much lower competitive rate and with a much more efficient production cycle that will benefit AVT’s clients and allow AVT to develop and grow. He considers it is important to ensure that products are delivered to the client within the shortest possible time from an order being placed. He understands the market and how the construction industry and the merchants who service it need the flexibility to make last minute design changes and their need for prompt and efficient completion of orders. His understanding of the industry’s needs enables him to relate to client issues and the difficulties of their work. His aim is to take the business into an area where clients can place an order as close as possible to the installation as required. The objective is to create a dynamic trade that flows as fast as the water! If AVT can offer a simple whilst fast and friendly service with all the necessary help and support provided every party will benefit and Garry will feel he has achieved one of his aims. As well as proving to be a reliable source of information and advice he has proved to be a reliable supplier of VFCs.
Garry wishes you all well and is always welcoming if you would like to talk to him.
